Ktm fork oil capacity
Hey I'm curious what you suspension guys are running for oil level in the outer camber in your AER48 forks? Manual says cc Racetech says cc Bike is a ktm sxf. Motocross track ridden only. Also on the damping side the manual calls for cc in the cartridge. Thanks -Sean. If they're stock I fill them back to cc, if I revalve them I use cc.
The damper is a sealed cartridge so the is what they recommend so there's enough oil when you install the base valve that there is no air pocket. Is that to stop the rapid spring ramp up? I've gone cc on mine. Yet to test Brian, have you done the kyb tech touch kits?

Jrewing wrote:. Yes, I soften up the base and make a floating mid and still don't have a bottoming issue. Unless RT is going really stiff and using very low air pressures I can't see a reason for using a larger oil volume, but if you use their calculator the still recommend pretty firm air pressures. I have not installed the TT kit yet, only a set of Ohlins inserts.
Yeah my guy did the same. I haven't ridden since I've dropped the oil but. I'm thinking this will be the trick. Vital MX - Motocross. Related: Edit Tags Done. Edit Tags Done. The manual calls for SAE 4 fork oil. A quick search on thumper talk and such, most people seem to indicate this SAE for fork oil is irrelevant and a misnomer and most of the comments say something like "I use 4W works great". Rocky mountain and other stores also only list 4W, 5W, 7W, etc fork oil. I doubt a little difference in viscosity will be enough for a n00b like me to even tell the difference in fork feel.
Now I am entirely confused and thinking i will go with 5W based on pretty much nothing. What do SBR peeps use? KTMrc Dino. Name Randy. Ankur said:. Gordo It isn't broken.Quick Links. The KTM manual calls for 3. Seems like lots of folks are using 4 liters. When I did my first oil change I noticed that 3. I ended up putting in close to 4 liters since the manual also states that the oil level should be at the top line of the sight glass.
However after a mile ride I checked the oil level again and it was a bit over the top line on the sight glass. I checked it again yesterday before heading out after warming up the motor and it was near the lower line on the sight glass.
I decided I would check it after a ride and when I got back from a ride and checked it again it was near the top line. If it's really supposed to be 3. Perhaps we should be checking the oil level after the oil has gotten up to operating temp? Based on just two oil changes and checking the sight glass after riding the bike I'm starting to think that 3. What's every ones opinion on this?
The manual does say 3. My other bike is a rocket. I am not saying it doesn't - just that it shouldn't. Jon Sold it. Got an Aprilia Shiver. I used regular oil the first change as suggested by the dealer to allow the engine to fully break in. Switching to full synthic now. The oil was low in the site glass so I deceided change it after miles.Especially when you buy that iProduct used!!. This seems to be an almost unnecessary argument for eReaders. The ability to carry a very large library makes sense there.
With a book, however, I can rarely see the need to carry more than one or two (assuming you might be finishing the current book shortly). I think the killer app in this regard is actually textbooks and reference books. Large, heavy textbooks at that.Замена Сальников Вилки на Мотоцикле
Not only do they have the advantage in storing large collections, but search, annotation and other features are far more useful and necessary in this area than they are to the casual reader.
Academic journals will still need to be read and utilized on computers, but the additional ability to access them on an eReader would certainly be a boon in many fields. The only flaw is that this would require devices capable of color and with a good ability to display graphics. I also suspect that it would only come to a suitably open platform, not one as locked-down as the Kindle with only one provider.
Considering many textbooks are currently the price of a Kindle it should be trivial to find a way to encourage their acceptance heavily. Partnering with schools and offering a method to automatically find and buy all of your books for a semester would help greatly with keeping students with it through convenience. Why bother tracking down all the books you need, ordering them in advance (either online or reserving them with the campus bookstore) when you can get everything within minutes with a single click and not even having to think about it.
With paper books, depending on how long I will be gone for, that means carrying as many as five books at a time. I used to think text books were going to be the killer use, but have changed my mind about that, at least in the current state of the Kindle.
Know roughly where something is in a book, but not the exact page number. More like press Menu, select Go To, enter a location number, glance at the page, guess another location number and repeat the process. I think something that could be very competitive for the kindle is if it were to offer some of the capabilities of the nook and other e-reading devices.

Now that more competitive e-readers are on the market, all that glisters is not gold. Nook, and I-Pad among others offer access to google e-books and you can even check out e-books from, at least from my local library, to the nook. The most you can do, book wise, with the kindle is buy and share for 14 days with another kindle owner. What about another possibility.
A priced Kindle, but with a certain number of books and magazines or newspapers for free. The current model suffers because the books, magazines and newspapers are typically more expensive on the Kindle than the paperback versions. I wish Amazon sold the Kindle as a tree saver, and additionally being a money saver. Amazon is a scary company to compete against because they keep their margins low and give so much of the economics back to the customer. Once you have paid for Prime, you get everything quickly and love Amazon.
I have been continually impressed at how Amazon has sacraficed short term profitability for the long-term health of the business and this would be another example of that. I like the formatting and usability of iBooks better, though. I too use the iPad Kindle app and the nook app and the stanza app and the iBooks app and the app for my local libraries I am now a bibliophile of both the print and ebook type. I can go on reading the my kindle for hours.
All its missing is a better nav system. There is no extra cost beyond what you already pay.

I would love a free Kindle. Seems like a huge missed opportunity. It would be yet another incentive for people to sign up for Amazon Prime. Free shipping, free movie streaming, free Kindle.
